28 Dec The Power of Touch
I had a really great experience recently, and it was accompanied by the crystal-clear realization that I had forgotten about the power of touch. One of the main reasons I was drawn to being an Esthetician (and formerly a massage therapist) was that I responded so positively to my early spa treatments. Years, and more years, roll by, as is about to happen again with the arrival of 2012, and I get caught up in the multitude of important details involved in working in a spa. While these details are essential to making a spa the restorative experience we all hope it to be for our clients, it clearly is not the most essential part, not the magic ingredient.
