Hair Talk

It had been quite some time since I had done anything with my hair – right after Sabina was born I cut it short, and regretted it – so I was committed to letting it grow out. After one years I decided that I needed to at least get my dead ends cut off. I made an appointment at Ziva, this wonderful hair salon on NW 23rd, with Heidi. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome – which isn’t the norm in most high-end hair salons.

Heidi was fantastic – she listened to my needs and concerns about my hair, communicated and repeated back to me what she heard, and gave me her expert advise in a non-pushy way. The scalp massage/shampoo/treatment was delightful and I love what she did with my hair. After the treatment, the products she used in during my styling were left on the front counter for me to see – but not forced, which I appreciate. I recommend anyone looking for an expert hair stylist to check out Ziva.
